In our earlier notice Q2004-135, dated November 11, 2004, we indicated a tentative date of December 5, 2004 for implementation of Channel 6.  There remain a number of RLC users that have not tested as indicated below.  Please conduct this test as soon as possible.  A new implementation date will be announced, once we have determined that testing is complete and our network engineers complete the final channel preparations needed to support the new equity option spreads.

While CME network engineers continue to configure Channel 6 to transmit CME Globex^® options data, we are asking all RLC users to test the new usernames/passwords provided to them last week for connectivity only.  These usernames/passwords will be pointing to Channel 4 to enable connectivity testing, effective Tuesday, November 23, 2004.  Please logon, confirm you have connectivity to Channel 4, then logoff and send an email to kbrady@cme.com, confirming or denying a successful test.

Once all CME systems changes are complete, the new usernames/passwords will be changed to point to Channel 6.  We will advise all RLC users when CME options data will begin flowing over both Channels 4 and 6.
